Nice pencils for the price, but no white pencil for a black edition!
"I like these colored pencils from Faber-Castell. I got them because it said ‘Black Edition’, so I assumed they were extra nice on black paper. However, the dark green and blue, and the black color pencils don’t give a great contrast when used on black paper. Similarly, the peach color is quite light on white paper. Also, the pencils are creamy, but by far not are creamy (with a ‘wow’ factor) as the Faber-Castell’s Polychromos pencils. But then they are a fraction of that price. So: 5 stars for quality for the price, but only 3 starts for not having a white pencils in a ‘black edition’ pencil set. The expressive drawing on the metal box leads us to believe that there is a white pencil inside… and there isn’t. So on average I’ll give this set a 4 star rating."
