"I’m enjoying using this tote as a journal/notebook/planner caddy. I leave it sitting on a couch in my living room filled with my stuff including books, pens, stickers, etc. I love how sturdy it is and how the light blue trim looks against the black canvas. The black is darker than it appears in photos and I kind of wish it were a little more “off black” (like a dark charcoal) but that is just preference and not a big deal. My only other wish is that it weren’t as long or rectangular since the bigger it is, the more you fill it with and the heavier it becomes! If there were 2 inches off the length I think it would be perfect but I’m not using it for art supplies so I get why it’s so large. (Fortunately, I don’t really need to carry it since mine is quite heavy but I like that I have the option)"

is it reinforced to stay flat when used to will the weight cause bottom to sag -- like a duffle bag
This has a removeable bottom. It helps keep shape so bottom doesn’t sag and lifts up when you want to fold up tote.

Sorry this bag has no closure on top.
I love the look of this bag, but was wondering if it was sturdy enough to hold its shape when placed on the ground? Or do the sides "fold" in and collapse?
The bag will hold it's shape and will not collapse.
