"I have been a fan of Levenger products for years, owning several. I had never tried any of the pens however. I regret that now. I first started with the True Writer Create Herringbone fountain pen. I hadn’t used a fountain pen in years, and I found the writing experience wonderful. I prefer rollerball pens, so I had to pick up that version. Beautiful. Well if I have two out of three in the series, I obviously need to finish things off, so I got the ballpoint pen as well. Each pen has a unique character to them which makes writing a real joy. Honestly, I’m not sure which one I prefer more. The brass bodies have plenty heft to them, and posting the caps provides a beautiful balance. Be aware these are not light pens by any means. I have other pens, including a Mont Blanc Meisterstuck, so I’m partial to the black and gold looks with the herringbone pattern. In my opinion, it’s simply what a pen should look like. They are very affordable writing instruments, that punch well above their weight. I simply can’t recommend them enough."
